Pipework & Utilities
This is our core specialisation. Our technical ability has been built
up over many years working on an array of pipe-related projects:
Water, gas and drainage; above and below ground, all types of pipe
– copper, iron, steel, concrete and PE; all types of jointing
– mechanical, push fit, solvent and electrofusion. This is
what we know best.
We cater for installations, repairs, renewals, inspection, testing
(pressure & hydrostatic), chlorination & certification,
leak detection, periodic inspection & testing on all types of
water main supplies.
We’re WRAS certificated and Thames Water approved. Having
your supply fitted by a WRAS approved operative means that you can
bypass the usual Water Authority pre-service inspection prior to
your connection being implemented. This can save up to 10 days waiting
for water suppliers consent and also reduces the paperwork associated
with the process.
By using a TAPS approved supplier you may qualify for a reduction
in the Water Supplier's connection charge. Some Water Suppliers
recognise that by developers using Approved Plumbers for plumbing
installations in new premises, there is a reduction in the cost
of administration, which they share with the developer by reducing
the connection charge for the new supply.
We’re also Corgi certificated for customer side and gas distribution
certificated engineers for utilities contractors. All our works
comply to current legislation.
